[GENERAL] Stats

Physical stuff: A nerd, but a nerd with a fanclub who thinks he looks dreamy. Too skinny. Often has dark circles under his eyes. Dresses in questionable late 90s fashion.
There's a circular scar on the back and palm of his left hand. It's slightly larger on the back than the palm, and it's obviously some sort of impalement wound.
If he takes off his shirt, there's five small scars arranged in a pattern like the bottom half of a circle on his lower chest and upper abdomen (like so).
* In the Toei anime, they're green (and change to purple when Dark Bakura is in control). In the Duel Monsters anime and DSOD, they're brown. Most of the time when Takahashi draws him, though, they're blue or blue-purple.
Psychic/magic/etc stuff: He spent years being possessed on a semi-regular basis by a being that was part vengeful spirit and part dark god (citation needed). The means of possession was through an Ancient Egyptian necklace created through a dark magic ritual that involved the unwilling sacrifice of 99 people.

Demonverse-specific stuff:
• Specifically post original manga canon. I started playing this version of him before DSoD and while I'm happy to incorporate some of the backstory info, I'm still a little ???? on the whole... cube... thing...
• That said, I'm definitely stealing the fact that tech of his world has advanced ridiculously quickly thanks to, well, Kaiba. So while he's a very late 90s/early 00s boy in a lot of ways, he also lives in a reality where solid vision technology and incredibly advanced AIs are a thing.
• Currently in his second year at university, where he's majoring in art history.
• A walking encyclopedia of (normally) useless trivia on both TRPGs and all things occult. Has absolutely made terrible decisions regarding things like ouija boards and hitori kakurenbo before.
• Teaching himself magic in his spare time (or at least trying to). The going is slow since all he has to work off is: 1) books of dubious accuracy, 2) stuff he remembers the Spirit of the Ring doing. As such, he's been starting small and focusing mostly on enchantments of physical objects, like protective amulets. More recently, Paracelcus (Fate/) gave him a quick crash course in some basics, so hooray (?) for that.
• Has a lot of complicated feelings and unresolved issues with everything that happened to him while in possession of the Ring. Definitely doesn't feel like this is something he can bother his friends with. tl;dr Relationship Status: It Was Complicated And I Never Got Closure.
• The only Bakura I play who's made out with one incubus and slept with another, so honestly, he's doing pretty well.
Physical stuff: If you can overlook the fact that he's too skinny, dresses in questionable late 90s/early 00s fashion, and usually has dark circles around his eyes from not sleeping, he's actually quite an attractive young man. Often has bandaids on his fingers and/or paint/ink under his nails.

Plenty of traumatic memories that don't seem to bother him that much, but it's hard to tell if he's actually come to terms with them or is just really good at dissociating.
